Sometimes I think about my life
And all it's funny games
A gambling man I'm not I guarantee
Yet I still bet on right or wrong
It's day for me and night for some
The sun is out but well never agree
I stand and watch the years go by
The April rain sunshine she came to stay for our July
When autumn leaves drift by my windowpane
The cold will pass into the spring again
As seasons come so will they go
Too young to die too old not to know anything
Maybe we sleep in today
But alas I've things to do life goes on
Still my thoughts distract me somethings don't change
I'll spend a sunny afternoon by waiting for city night lights
To shine before I call it a day
Who are they I wonder going home
Or the other way I'll never know
If home some comfort I'll raise up in prayer
If not then may your drinks be cold and strong
Another day is dead and gone
As seasons come so will they go
Too young to die but too damn old not to know anything
I'm dumb for doing things the same as yesterday expecting change
Am I alone here
Do you feel at home
At times I don't wanna grow up
Knowing part of me still wishes
I was young again
When did we stop playing pretend
All so simple and plain
We live and we learn somethings are just meant to change
Nothings meant to last forever
